Cracked Garlic Steak Tortellini: A One-Pan Wonder

Ingredients
  

  • 20 oz fresh cheese tortellini
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • 1 ¼ cups parmesan cheese, shredded
  • Fresh chopped parsley (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Cracked black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Boil salted water and cook tortellini for 3-5 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Step 2: Pat steak dry, season with spices, and sear in hot skillet with olive oil for 3-5 minutes per side. Let rest.
  • Step 3: In the same skillet, melt butter, add garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
  • Step 4: Stir in heavy cream and milk, simmering until slightly thickened.
  • Step 5: Add parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
  • Step 6: Slice steak and return to skillet with tortellini, tossing to coat.
  • Step 7: Garnish with parsley and extra cracked black pepper before serving.
