Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Optional: Green onions for garnishing

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Whisk together until well blended.
  • In a baking dish, place the chicken breasts and pour the honey-mustard mixture over them, ensuring they are coated well.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve the sliced chicken drizzled with the remaining glaze.

Notes

Marinate chicken for several hours for more flavor. Add garlic or fresh herbs to the marinade for a flavor boost. Allow resting time post-baking for juicy chicken. To thicken the glaze, reduce it on the stovetop after baking.
