Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium green cabbage
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Step 2: Cut the cabbage into 8 wedges, keeping the core intact.
  • Step 3: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear cabbage wedges until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Step 4: Remove the cabbage from the skillet and set aside. Reduce heat to medium, add butter, and sauté sliced onion until translucent.
  • Step 5: Add garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  • Step 6: Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in cream cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Step 7: Add heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes, oregano, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Step 8: Return cabbage wedges to the skillet, spooning sauce over them. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Step 9: Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the cabbage is tender.
  • Step 10: Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, substitute cream cheese and heavy cream with coconut cream. Adjust seasoning to taste.
